Black Krim Tomato

Highly sought after for its unique rich flavor this heirloom tomato originates from the Crimean Peninsula. Black Krim was introduced to the US in 1990 by Lars Olov Rosenstrom from Sweden through the Seed Savers Exchange. This heirloom variety is heat loving and reveals a dark reddish-purple to black skin giving about 8 ounces of tastiness! Be sure to provide support for the vines to grow up as this plant can become quite large. Black Krim is susceptible to cracking so introducing a routinely watering schedule would be perfect along with checking plants before heavy rainfall.
