Known for its smoky and sweet rich flavor, Cherokee Purple is thought to have originated by the Cherokee tribe from Tennessee before the 1900s. These fruits have a deep pinkish-purple like flesh weighing 8-12 ounces each. This heirloom variety can be grown all across the US and is still ranked one of the best tasting tomatoes to this day!
